Common Management System (PeopleSoft)
The Common Management System (CMS) is an Oracle/PeopleSoft software application that's used across the California State University (CSU) System to perform administrative functions. Applications housed within the CMS include PeopleSoft Financials, Human Resources and Student Administration. Enterprise data is made available through PolyData Dashboards & Reporting and other system integrations.

CMS accounts are made available only to individuals in specific roles on campus, upon formal request and approval. CMS users are required to enroll in multi-factor authentication (MFA) before using the system. | Made possible through Cal Poly funds, no additional charges. | |

General support for CMS is provided by administrators within each business unit (i.e. Admissions, Human Resources, Financial Aid, etc). ITS supports those administrators. The CMS is largely governed by the CSU Chancellor's office.
