> ⚠️ **A mobile phone is recommended to call 911 if available.** The GPS technology built into most mobile devices ensures that emergency services can find you more reliably.

1. **Launch MiCollab on **<u>**[Windows](https://www.mitel.com/document-center/applications/collaboration/micollab/micollab-client/10.0/en/micollab-for-pc-client-end-user-online-help)**</u>** or **<u>**[Mac](https://www.mitel.com/document-center/applications/collaboration/micollab/micollab-client/10.0/en/micollab-for-mac-client-end-user-online-help)**</u>, and a red dot alerting you to set your location appears in the bottom left corner of the app.
2. Click the **Red Dot **displayed in the bottom left corner.
  
3. Download and install the **Mitel Network Helper** if prompted.
  
4. Click  **Add **to add a new location.
  
5. **Fill out the form** to create a new location.  
  
***NOTE:**** ****1 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407**** is the main campus address.*  
  
<span style="color: #0747a6">**IMPORTANT: Location Info**</span><span style="color: #0747a6"> is the field to use for more detail beyond the main campus address. This is critical in office environments with multiple floors, buildings, and rooms.</span>* *
  *Here is an example of a completed new location entry*
  
6. **When you move to a new location, you will need to set your new location for 911 again**.   
*Once you have set multiple locations, the system will attempt to help you set it correctly based on where you are at the given moment.*

> ℹ️ - Cal Poly does not have access to locations set within the app. Your data is sent directly to the nationwide 911 system at the time of a 911 telephone call only.
> ℹ️ - **Never call 911 to test your configuration.**
