There are some security risks when conducting online classes and meetings. Unfortunately, zoom-bombing, the name given to gate-crashing Zoom meetings, has become more prevalent with a rise in trolling and the sharing of graphic content by uninvited guests looking to disrupt meetings. Zoom has the [Waiting Room](https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115000332726-Waiting-Room) feature turned on by default for Education accounts.

> ℹ️ - Visit the [Zoom Trust Center](https://explore.zoom.us/en/trust/) for a complete guide to Zoom compliance, privacy, safety, and security.
> ℹ️ - If you experience a zoom-bombing incident, report the incident directly to Cal Poly’s Information Security team at [security@calpoly.edu](mailto:security@calpoly.edu). A forensics analysis will be conducted and shared with Zoom.
