Adobe Creative Cloud is available at no cost to current Cal Poly faculty, staff, and students. Emeritus faculty are not covered unless a department sponsors them for active work or projects. Access industry-leading desktop and mobile apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Spark, and many more.

- Easy sign-in using your university email and password.
- Licensed Creative Cloud software may be installed on two devices at no cost; one for work use on a Cal Poly-owned device and one for home use on a personal device (computer, tablet, or phone).
- Adobe “Premium features” (indicated by a purple crown icon in Adobe applications) are **not included** in our contract, but can be purchased directly from Adobe using a non-Cal Poly Adobe account.
- Visit Adobe's website for more information about new [Creative Cloud](https://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/features.html) features.

> ℹ️ Adobe Cloud storage should not be used to store Level 1 data. For more information about data handling standards, visit [Cal Poly Information Classification and Handling Standards](https://security.calpoly.edu/content/policies/standards/classification/index).

## Graduating Students

<details>
<summary>Click here to see information for graduating students</summary>

Your Adobe license remains active while you have access to the portal, typically for two years.

You can migrate most Adobe Creative Cloud assets to a new Adobe Creative Cloud free membership account. The Creative Cloud free membership includes trial versions of most of Adobe’s creative apps, and you can easily upgrade to get full versions of all apps and services included in your school account.  This will give you ongoing access to your creative work once you leave Cal Poly.

- For more information on the migration process, visit<span style="color: #ff5630"> </span><u>[Adobe Student File Transfer](https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/enterprise/using/using-student-file-transfer.html)</u>
- Unfortunately, Adobe Student File Transfer does not currently support assets from Behance or Portfolio. Instructions about how to use the Portfolio transfer service are documented <u>[here](https://help.myportfolio.com/hc/en-us/articles/13298909573659-Migrate-a-School-account-to-a-Personal-account)</u>, and information about moving a Behance profile between accounts can be found <u>[here](https://help.behance.net/hc/en-us/articles/204484914-Guide-Change-Or-Update-Your-Adobe-ID)</u>.
- The Behance and Portfolio tools are both one-time account migrations, unlike Student File Transfer, which is an anytime file copy service.

<summary>For those who are covered by licensing and already have a paid Adobe subscription, purchased through Kivuto</summary>

If you have a paid Adobe account associated with your @calpoly.edu or @csum.edu email address, it will not be canceled automatically. You’ll need to cancel it yourself directly through Kivuto, following their cancellation policies. Unfortunately, Cal Poly cannot assist with cancellations or exceptions.

No action is required to continue using Adobe Creative Cloud. You will continue to sign in with your @calpoly.edu or @csum.edu email address, and there will be no change or disruption of service.

If you have a paid Adobe account associated with your @calpoly.edu or @csum.edu address, it will not be canceled automatically. You’ll need to cancel it yourself directly through Adobe, following their cancellation policies, if you choose to do so. Unfortunately, Cal Poly cannot assist with cancellations or exceptions.

If you prefer to keep your paid account to maintain privacy or separation of assets, you may do so and no action is required.

Once Cal Poly adds a Creative Cloud license to your @calpoly.edu or @csum.edu address, and while your paid license through Adobe remains active, you’ll see an account or profile picker when signing in:

- Select **Company or school account**, then the **Cal Poly Business Profile** for your Cal Poly–issued account
- Select **Personal account, **then** Personal profile** for your paid Adobe account

If you need to move content between profiles, see <u>[Move content across profiles](https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/transfer-assets.html)</u>.
