The Common Management System (CMS) is a PeopleSoft software application from Oracle that's used across the California State University (CSU) System to perform administrative functions. The CMS has three distinct environments that serve different functions: Common Financial System (CFS), Human Resources (HR) and Student Administration. All three CMS environments are accessed through [My Cal Poly Portal](https://calpoly.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPKB/pages/2425359). Permissions to access these systems are based on your role at Cal Poly and subject to approval from management. Enterprise data is made available through [PolyData Dashboards & Reporting](https://calpoly.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPKB/pages/2425119) and other system integrations.

### Quickstart

1. Log in to the [My Cal Poly Portal](https://myportal.calpoly.edu/).
2. Under the **My Apps** menu, choose from **Student Administration**<span style="color: #323232">,</span>** HR Administration**<span style="color: #323232">, or </span>**CSU Portal - Financial Administration**<span style="color: #323232">.</span>
