High Performance Computing (HPC) refers to the use of powerful computing clusters, supercomputers, or cloud-based environments and parallel processing techniques to quickly solve complex, large-scale, or compute-intensive problems that standard computers cannot efficiently handle. It is commonly used in scientific research, engineering, and data-intensive tasks utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), simulations, modeling, and machine learning.  
  
There are several cloud-based HPC services available to you. This list is continually updated, so please refer back to it when investigating HPC solutions.

> - NAIRR is funded by the NSF, 12 US federal agencies, and over 25 non-governmental partners. ​

> - Cloud computing credits are available from NVIDIA ($30 million) and Microsoft ($20 million).
