Make ChatGPT more actionable and personalized with your own Sharepoint data source, now available on demand. The Sharepoint app enables ChatGPT to securely connect to SharePoint so you can search files, pull live data, and reference content right in the chat.   


1. **IMPORTANT:** First, **submit a ****[General Help ticket](https://calpoly.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/group/8/create/30)****, requesting access** to the SharePoint App for ChatGPT.
2. Login to your ChatGPT account. Then in the bottom left-hand corner of your browser, choose **your name **> then click **Settings.**

2. Select **Apps** > then click the** Explore apps** button.

3. Select **For Cal Poly > SharePoint.**
  
4. Then click the **Connect** button.
5. Choose your connection type.
  
6. Click the **Continue to SharePoint** button.
  
7. Login with Microsoft using your Cal Poly account.
  
8. You should see “SharePoint is now connected.”
  
9. Click the **Start Chat** button.
10. The **SharePoint App icon **appears below your chat box. Integration is complete.
