## Update Zoom Phone Settings

> ### Step 1: Voicemail Settings
> 
> 1. Log in to the **Zoom Web Portal** [https://calpoly.zoom.us/](https://calpoly.zoom.us/)
> 2. Select **Sign In** (configure your account)
> 3. On the left navigation menu, click **Phone**, then select the **Settings tab**.
> 4. Scroll down to the **Call Handling** section.
> 5. Find the **Greeting & Leave voicemail **instruction setting and click **Edit** (this can be configured for Business, Closed, or Holiday hours).

> ### Step 2: Add Your Greeting
> 
> - From the drop-down menu, click **Add Audio**, then choose **one of these three options**:
>   - **Record by Computer: **Select this tab, enter an Asset Name, and choose *Voicemail greeting* as the category. Click the Record button to record your voice message using your computer's microphone, then click Add.
>   - **Text to Speech: **Type out your message, select a language and voice style, and let the system generate the audio for you.
>   - **Upload: **Upload** **a pre-recorded audio file (e.g., a WAV or MP3 file) directly from your computer.

> ### Step 3: Manage Voicemail and Access Options
> 
> - Once your greeting is set, you can **customize** how your voicemails work:
>   - **Voicemail PIN:** Set or view your PIN under the Desk phone section in your Zoom Web Portal settings. You will need this if you ever check your voicemail from a physical desk phone (by dialing *86).
>   - **Voicemail Transcriptions:** Zoom will automatically transcribe audio from received voicemails and send them to your email inbox, as well as list them in your Zoom App.
