At times, you will notice a different sign-in screen, provided by Microsoft, when signing into some Cal Poly services. You will especially notice this when signing into Microsoft services such as Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams. Below is an example sequence of steps showing what the experience looks like, so you’ll know what to expect…  


1. When prompted by the **Microsoft sign-in screen**, enter your **Cal Poly email address**, then click **Next.**
  
2. <span style="color: #006644">*You will now notice Cal Poly branding.*</span> Enter your Cal Poly **password**, then click the **Sign in** button.
  
3. Click ***Approve with Duo MFA.***
  
4. Complete your **Duo Verification  **and be sure to select the **Remember me** checkbox at the bottom.
  
5. You have successfully signed in!
