Learn how to add a new mobile phone to your Duo account.

1. Log in to the [My Cal Poly Portal](https://myportal.calpoly.edu/).
2. Click the **Personal Info tab**. Under Personal Info, select** Authorized Devices**. Open the **Multi-factor Authentication** dropdown. Click** Edit**.
  
3. **Select an authentication method** and complete the verification on your currently enrolled device.
  

*Once authenticated, you will see a page that lists your devices in square cells.* 

1. Click **I have a new phone**.
  
2. Click **Get started** and follow the prompts on the screen to finish adding your new device.
  

> ℹ️ Contact the [ITS Service Desk](https://calpoly.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPKB/pages/909246477) for assistance if you do not have a backup device. After the Service Desk deletes the device, you can add a new one. Remember, your password will still protect your account.
