## Problem

"Scrolling and dragging and dropping in Virtual Computer Labs app is not smooth is running slow."

## Solution

Virtual Computer Labs uses cloud technology, which is dependent on many factors that may affect performance, including [internet bandwidth](https://calpoly.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/CPKB/pages/253526263), and internet traffic. Learn how to improve performance.

1. Review Amazon's [bandwidth recommendations](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/appstream2/latest/developerguide/bandwidth-recommendations-user-connections.html). Different applications may require more bandwidth. Then check your streaming metrics in Virtual Computer Labs to see how it compares to your internet connectivity. In Virtual Computer Labs, go to **Settings **>** Streaming mode **> **Show Streaming Metrics**.

2. If you are using WiFi to connect to the internet, confirm you have a strong signal or move closer to the WiFi access point.
3. Connect your computer to the internet using an ethernet cable.
4. Limit the number of people, devices, and streaming services (audio, video, gaming, etc.) used on the network to save bandwidth.
