Check OneDrive and SharePoint storage quotas by file type.

## OneDrive

From [OneDrive](https://login.microsoftonline.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin1.0&whr=calpoly.edu&wreply=https%3A%2F%2Fcpslo-my.sharepoint.com), go to the top right of the page, click the **Gear** **icon** > **OneDrive Settings** > **More Settings**  > **Storage Metrics**. *View the amount of free OneDrive storage along with the total capacity in the upper right corner.*

## SharePoint

Log onto [SharePoint](https://cpslo.sharepoint.com/_layouts/15/sharepoint.aspx?), from the My Sites section (Globe icon), select your site, then from the top right of the page, click the **Gear** **icon** > **Site Contents** > **Site settings** > **Storage Metrics**. *View the amount of free SharePoint file storage along with the total capacity in the upper right corner.*

⚠️ Note: The Storage Metrics page is only available to Site Collection Administrators. If you don’t see it, you might need to request access from your SharePoint admin.


> ℹ️ OneDrive has a 500 GB storage limit, and SharePoint has a 2 TB storage limit. File size limits for each are 250 GB.
> ℹ️ 
> ℹ️ However, emeritus, guests, shared accounts, and CSU bargaining units 5, 6 and 11 are an exception. The O365 license for these category of accounts has a default storage limit of 100 GB.
