Service Desk

General tech support is available to faculty, staff and students through the ITS Service Desk. This includes basic troubleshooting, hardware and software support, and consultation regarding ITS services such as your Cal Poly Account, WiFi, Software, and Printing. More advanced support is provided to faculty and staff either through Contract Tech Support (SLA) or through a Campus Information Technology Coordinator (CITC), depending on which college or department you work in.

Service Details




Support can be received by contacting the Service Desk by phone, via email, and online through Support Center. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., excluding holidays. Support is provided during academic breaks with the exception of the end-of-year campus shutdown.    Made possible through Cal Poly funds, no additional charges.

Computer Purchases



ITS provides advice on the purchase of computers and computer-related products, and participates in campus-wide negotiated pricing with Apple and Dell. Information on discounted hardware and software for personal purchase is also available.
