ITS designs, installs and maintains the wired network infrastructure on campus. This includes network hardware such as switches and firewalls, ethernet cable pulling and management, and faceplates on the wall.

| Requests for changes or support are generally limited to campus technical support staff. Requests to add, move, or activate a network port can be submitted by filling out a Network Port Activation or Change request. | Made possible through Cal Poly funds, however, additional charges apply for adding, moving, or activating a network port. | |
